On the premises of the newly opened KASPI business incubator, a lecture on existing and future projects of the City of Kastav was held for the attendees of the Summer School. This year, the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka, is organising the International Environment and European Integration Summer School, which will be held from July 4th to 15 2022 godine. This year, the Summer School has 30 participants from 9 countries who are interested in the topic of the European Union, the processes of European integration and business in the international environment. The Summer School is a long-term project of the Faculty of Economics in Rijeka, which created the foundation for strengthening international cooperation in this part of the Republic of Croatia through its activities. Moreover, the special importance of this year’s Summer School is its implementation under the auspices of the EU, i.e. within the framework of the Jean Monnet Programme.
The School provides accommodation and a diverse accompanying program for its participants. The activities include visits to Croatian cities, exploring Croatia’s natural and cultural sights, and other entertainment facilities.
Representatives of the City of Kastav Biljana Maljković Jakovac, Head of the Department for Development and Funds of the EU, Renato Stanković, Project Manager and Matea Cavrić, Head of business incubator KASPI, introduced to the guests the economic, social and cultural activities of the City and provided a guided tour through the cultural attractions.
