KASPI
is a modern business incubator in the fields of green technologies and sustainable development, information and communication technologies, and the creative industry (video games, music, photography, design, etc.), intended for the following users:

KASPI includes

Although KASPI specializes in the digital and green transition and in creative industries, i.e., technologies, materials, services and products in this area, all other businesses wishing to develop or upgrade their business are welcome.
Location
As part of the Kastav Smart Start project, the building has been adapted into the KASPI business incubator space and is divided into three units (meeting space, office space and coworking space) with common areas.
Kastav, a town fortified by medieval city walls, with nine defensive towers, is built on the ridge of a karst hill. It is located near the cities of Rijeka and Opatija. The term Kastavština comprehends a wider area that historically and culturally gravitates to the city of Kastav.
Throughout history, Kastav was inhabited by Japodes, Romans, Ostrogoths, Greeks, and Lombards, while in the 7th century the Croats settle here as well. During the Middle Ages, the lords of Kastav were the Counts of Devin and Counts Walsee, and since the 15th century the Habsburgs. 19. The 19th century is a time of national revival and the establishment of several cultural institutions that nurture the Croatian language and national identity.
After the First World War, the area of Kastav was divided between the Kingdom of Italy and the Kingdom of Yugoslavia, and after World War II and liberation, the area of Kastavština was reunited with Yugoslavia. Since the year 1991 Kastav has been part of the Republic of Croatia, and in 1997 it earns the status of a City.
Today Kastav has about 11,000 inhabitants, a rich cultural and natural heritage, a vibrant cultural and artistic scene, developed entrepreneurship, generous social programs and a high communal standard. The city of Kastav is currently implementing several projects in the areas of digital and green transition, infrastructure construction, introduction of communal innovations and expansion of the quality of social services, while new innovative projects, presented in this project catalogue are in various stages of preparation.
Kastav is one of the cities with the highest productivity and with the highest income per employee within the Urban Agglomeration of Rijeka. The city supports the development of entrepreneurial activities and participates in the implementation of the development of entrepreneurship and crafts with several measures for the development of small businesses.
