On the newly refurbished Lokvina Square and in the new premises of the business incubator KASPI and the innovation laboratory InoLab, Kastav Smart City gathered representatives of the public and private sector, technology companies, academia, architects and urban planners, scientists, experts and innovators. The themes of the event’s first edition were sustainable development, green transition, smart housing and new technologies.
The program consisted of a keynote lecture by Neven Kruljac (Komunalne usluge Cres Lošinj d.o.o.) and a panel discussion on the topic “Digital Transition of the Private Sector”, which was attended by Jonatan Lerga (Laboratory for Information Processing at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Rijeka), Nenad Antolović (CEKOM — Competence Centre for Smart Cities) and Davor Pasarić (Creative Department Ltd.).
The organiser of the Kastav Smart City event is the City of Kastav, with the help of partners: Regional Development Agency of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County — Prigoda, the University of Rijeka and Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d.
